PJ’s Coffee Father-Son Duo Earns 2023 IFA Franchisee of the Year

New Orleans-born coffeehouse franchisees selected for top recognition in franchising

June 23, 2023 // Franchising.com // NEW ORLEANS – PJ’s Coffee is proud to announce that franchisees Harry and Dalton Dodich from Mobile, Alabama, have received the International Franchise Association’s Franchisee of the Year award.

The IFA’s highest honor is awarded to franchise owners in recognition of their outstanding performance and contributions to franchising. The Dodichs have embodied the core values and mission of PJ’s Coffee since opening their first location in early 2020. The father-son duo currently operates three locations in the Mobile area and earned PJ’s Coffee Franchisee of the Year award in 2022 for their success, ingenuity and strength as partners.

Dalton’s expertise in business operations as a franchisee of another brand has helped him flourish as the managing partner for his and his father’s portfolio of PJ’s locations. The Dodichs are known for their constructive work culture and for acting proactively — and authentically — to keep a positive environment for their managers, baristas and customers, ensuring their success. Additionally, both help test and deploy new technology to improve operational efficiencies for the brand overall.
