Ten of Scooter’s Coffee’s Popular Drive-Thru Kiosks Coming to the Crown Point Area

The expansion into Northwest Indiana is the result of a 10-unit franchise agreement signed by John Wilson and Mark Holtkamp.
“The two of us met on our first day of barista training in the training kiosk at Scooter’s Coffee headquarters,” said John. “I had just started on the corporate side, and Mark was a new franchisee undergoing training to open his first store.” John had a history of owning successful pizza franchises, and Mark was looking to expand his Scooter’s portfolio, so they decided to go into business together. “When Mark and I first talked about partnering - I thought we’d do three or four stores total, but he was thinking we could do three or four a year. We agreed to start out with a 10-unit deal and go from there. Having been born and raised in the area, I couldn’t be more excited to bring Scooter’s Coffee here.”
Scooter’s Coffee, based in Omaha, specializes in artisan espresso drinks, fruit smoothies, baked-from-scratch pastries, and features its signature drink, the Caramelicious®.
