Big Whiskey’s Newest Franchise Location Sees Success in Opening Week

November 10, 2023 // Franchising.com // Poplar Bluff, Missouri - Big Whiskey’s American Restaurant and Bar recently opened in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

Poplar Bluff is home to about 16,000 people, which makes it one of the smallest markets that Big Whiskey’s has entered in its history.

“We couldn’t be happier with Big Whiskey’s success in Poplar Bluff. People across the community and beyond came out to celebrate our grand opening, and we expect that engagement to continue. Big Whiskey’s is exactly what our city needed.” said David Vernon, a representative from the franchisee group.

Poplar Bluff’s opening marks the ninth Big Whiskey’s location in Missouri, and the first of 8 locations to open in the next 12 months across the nation.

“We’ve always known that we could accomplish big things in smaller communities, and Poplar Bluff’s success is just the beginning,” said Big Whiskey’s co-owner, Austin Herschend. “The grand opening of that size in a smaller community indicates even greater sales success in larger cities.”
