Couple Opens Hounds Town USA in Sandy Springs, GA

June 12, 2024 // Franchising.com // SANDY SPRINGS, GA - Hounds Town USA announced the opening of its latest location in the historic city of Sandy Springs, Georgia. The new Sandy Springs location is slated to open its doors to the community on June 15th, perfect for a summer of tail-wagging fun.

Husband and wife, Kevin and Kathie Brown, are the local owners of this new Hounds Town which will bring a reliable daycare and boarding option to local pets. The ownership duo brings a wealth of experience to this new venture. Kevin has an extensive background in engineering and sustainability, working to ensure buildings are efficiently handling their energy sources. Now, alongside his wife, he is eager to combine his love for animals with the skills he has built managing his own team over the past 30 years.

“We wanted to get more involved in our local community and build meaningful relationships to spread a sense of belonging to our fellow parents of fur kids,” said Kevin. “My wife Kathie and I have been fostering animals with the Atlanta Humane Society for years, and it has been such an enriching experience.”

Kathie is a medical provider (PA) specializing in hospitalized pediatric patients. She started volunteering at the Atlanta Humane Society in 2016 and so far, has fostered over 150 animals.
