iSmash Launching High-Energy Entertainment Experience in St. Louis Park
Interactive Rage Rooms and Splatter Paint Venue Slated to Open First Twin Cities Location in Popular West End District
January 21, 2026 // Franchising.com // ST. LOUIS PARK, Minn. — A new, high-energy entertainment concept is coming soon to one of the Twin Cities’ most vibrant destinations. iSmash, the fast-growing interactive entertainment brand, known for its immersive Rage Rooms and colorful Splatter Paint experiences, has announced plans to open a new location in St. Louis Park’s West End district, at 1658 West End Blvd., just west of Minneapolis. The opening is anticipated for this spring.
Located in the heart of the West End district, the upcoming iSmash venue will join a bustling mix of dining, entertainment and retail destinations, making it a natural fit for group outings, celebrations and corporate team-building events.
The St. Louis Park location will be owned and operated by Andy Price, a seasoned corporate leader who is stepping into franchise ownership after more than 20 years in user experience design and senior leadership roles in marketing and product operations. Price’s background played a major role in his decision to franchise with iSmash. He plans to be closely involved in the day-to-day, overseeing operations and guest experiences.
“After spending years in corporate environments, I reached a point where I wanted to build something of my own,” said Price. “West End is already a destination for entertainment and social experiences, and iSmash adds another layer. I noticed the demand for something interactive and memorable that works for everything from casual visits and company outings to big celebrations.”
Following the West End location, Price will be launching a second venue in the region, currently targeted for 2027. Each upcoming iSmash will feature multiple Rage Rooms and Splatter Paint rooms designed for individuals, families and groups. Both Splatter Paint experiences and Rage Rooms offer a safe, controlled environment to smash items and blow off steam, with all safety gear and materials provided.
“Andy brings a thoughtful, experience-first mindset that aligns perfectly with where iSmash is headed as a brand,” said Steven Shortino, founder and CEO of iSmash. “His background in user experience and operations, combined with his personal drive to build something meaningful, makes him a strong owner. We’re eager to welcome the West End community and greater Minneapolis area to join in all the rage.”
Founded on the idea of stress relief through interactive entertainment, iSmash has quickly expanded nationwide with venues that blend physical activity, creativity and social connection.
