The location is owned and operated by John Lange, a seasoned entrepreneur and chemical engineer whose involvement in business and community activity informed the endeavor.

Lange has a history of business ownership, having started his first company at age 20. He has experience across several sectors, including industrial water treatment, steel fabrication, and entertainment.

“The pool industry is a steady, untapped market that continues to gain traction. More and more people are realizing that time is precious and are shifting pool maintenance responsibilities to professionals,” said Lange. “Poolwerx allows me to combine my engineering background with something that brings people joy. Lange holds an MBA from Stellenbosch University in South Africa and has experience across industrial water treatment, steel fabrication, and entertainment sectors. After relocating to the United States, he identified Alpharetta, Marietta, and Sandy Springs as locations for a long-term, service-driven business. He currently oversees operations employing around 120 people across his ventures, and notes that strong leadership and placing people in the right roles are important for sustained growth.
