The Big Biscuit Fuels Midwest Expansion with New Kansas Opening

March 04, 2026 // Franchising.com // MANHATTAN, Kan. – The Big Biscuit, a modern All-American breakfast and lunch franchise concept known for its classic comfort food served with hometown hospitality, provides information about its Kansas presence. Chad Offerdahl, President and CEO, and Scott Jayne, VP of Operations, are cited in association with the brand.

Chad was first introduced to The Big Biscuit brand after visiting the original location in Independence, Missouri, with his father, David Offerdahl, former CEO and current partner in the business. In 2010, they purchased The Big Biscuit and became involved in franchising and restaurant operations.
