iSmash Launches High-Energy Entertainment in Katy

May 28, 2026 // Franchising.com // KATY, Texas — iSmash is scheduled to open on May 23, bringing a Texas location to the Houston area.

Located adjacent to the Katy Mills Mall, iSmash is an entertainment venue offering Rage Rooms, Splatter Paint, Axe Throwing, and Smash Alley, a space where participants can interact with breakables.

Additionally, the space is suitable for private events, celebrations, and group outings. Age minimums are three years for Splatter Paint, eight years for Rage Rooms, and 13 years and up for Axe Throwing.

The Katy location is locally owned and operated by Mitesh Patel, who has experience in hospitality and retail and has previously owned and operated multiple restaurant concepts in the area.

iSmash describes its concept as a rage room offering a combination of physical activity, creativity and stress-relief experiences. Since its launch in 2018, the brand has expanded to multiple locations and has plans for additional locations in 2026. Like all iSmash venues, the Katy location provides safety equipment and materials needed for each activity. Special Smash Packages allow guests to tackle stress using their own Smash Boxes.
