Potbelly Opening at The National

June 30, 2026 // Franchising.com // DALLAS – Potbelly is continuing its growth across North Texas with a new location opening on Wednesday, July 1, at one of Dallas' most historic buildings in the city's Central Business District. The new shop at The National, formerly the First National Bank Tower relocates the brand's nearby Renaissance Tower (Ren Tower) location to a vibrant mixed-use destination, allowing Potbelly to continue serving downtown residents, workers and visitors from a refreshed location.

Potbelly is located street-level in the recently renovated famous building, and adds to the property's lineup of restaurants, providing locals and visitors with a fresh, made-to-order option throughout the day.

Potbelly will only add to the draw, bringing in new and longtime fans living, working and gathering nearby," said Jeff McGrory, Regional Director for Potbelly. "We look forward to welcoming guests with great food, good vibes and the warm hospitality that defines the Potbelly experience."

To celebrate the opening, Potbelly Dallas The National will host a Grand Opening event on Tuesday, July 14, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. The first 50 guests in line will receive Free Potbelly for a Year, and festivities will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony, Plinko games for a chance to win exclusive prizes and merchandise, and a lively atmosphere with balloons and giveaways.

The location will offer a selection of toasted sandwiches and wraps, signature salads, hand-dipped shakes and freshly baked cookies, with options for pickup, delivery and catering. Regular hours will be from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on weekends. Delivery, order ahead and catering are available in-shop, through Potbelly.com and in the Potbelly App.
