Hounds Town USA Brings Pack-Play Doggy Daycare Model to Cherry Hill-Woodcrest, NJ

September 02, 2026 // Franchising.com // CHERRY HILL, N.J.— Hounds Town USA is expanding its South Jersey pawprint with the opening of its newest location in Cherry Hill-Woodcrest.

Opening Wednesday, Sept. 2, at 401 E. Oak Ave., Building C, Suite 103, Hounds Town Cherry Hill-Woodcrest will bring the brand’s natural pack-play approach to dogs throughout Cherry Hill and surrounding South Jersey communities. Located just minutes from the PATCO Woodcrest Station, the new location offers a convenient option for local pet parents and commuters traveling between South Jersey and Philadelphia.

Behind the Cherry Hill-Woodcrest location are South Jersey residents Lourdes Vandvelt, Kevin Vandvelt and Jen Seroka, who bring complementary experience in veterinary medicine, business, finance and operations to the family-owned business. Jen has worked in veterinary medicine since 2017, with experience spanning emergency care, low-cost community clinics and primary care, as well as the broader animal-health industry. 

“Dogs have always been a huge part of our family, and we wanted to create the kind of place we would feel comfortable bringing our own dogs,” said Seroka, owner of Hounds Town Cherry Hill-Woodcrest. “Through my veterinary career, I’ve seen firsthand how much the right environment, exercise and socialization can impact a dog’s well-being. Hounds Town allows dogs to play, interact and simply be dogs, and bringing that to the South Jersey community we call home makes it even more meaningful.”

Their passion for dogs also extends to animal rescue, with all four of the family’s dogs coming from rescue organizations.Jen has also fostered and socialized rescue dogs, giving her firsthand experience helping dogs build confidence and prepare for their future homes.

Hounds Town Cherry Hill-Woodcrest participates in partnerships and fundraising with local animal-welfare organizations and participates in the brand’s Hounds Town Seal of Approval program, which provides shelter dogs with daycare and socialization to help prepare them for adoption.
