Potbelly Sandwich Shop Opens in West McKinney

September 03, 2026 // Franchising.com // WEST McKINNEY, Texas – Potbelly announced today the opening of a new shop in the DFW market. The new location brings Potbelly to the Stonebridge Ranch community of McKinney, a large suburb in the Metroplex.

Opening on Saturday, September 5, the new shop is located in the Eldorado Neighborhood Shops near the intersection of Eldorado Parkway and Stonebridge Drive (3200 S. Stonebridge Dr., Suite 108). Situated at the southern edge of Stonebridge Ranch, the well-known master planned community, the shop gives nearby families, students, professionals and businesses a new go-to dining spot, whether grabbing a quick lunch, picking up dinner for the family or bringing Potbelly catering to a school, office or neighborhood gathering. The new shop will serve the oven-toasted sandwiches Potbelly is known for, along with wraps, signature salads, hand-dipped shakes, freshly baked cookies and other craveable menu favorites.

Potbelly in West McKinney is owned and operated by father-son duo Barry and Remington Burke of Burke Restaurant Group, who bring decades of combined experience in multi-unit restaurant operations, franchising and entrepreneurship. The Burkes have long seen strong potential for Potbelly in West McKinney, drawn to the area's growth and neighborhood-driven character.

To celebrate the opening, a community event is planned on September 19 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., featuring activities and prizes such as merchandise giveaways.

Joining more than 65 locations across Texas and dozens in the DFW market, the West McKinney shop will offer convenient options for lunch, dinner and everything in between. Regular operating hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. Delivery, order ahead and catering are available in-shop, through Potbelly.com and in the Potbelly App, with third-party delivery services also available.
