Goldfish Swim School Expands in Michigan With New Brighton Location Amid Nationwide Growth

TROY, Mich., Sept. 18, 2026 // PRNewswire // -- Goldfish Swim School Franchising, LLC continues its national expansion with the opening of its newest swim school location in Brighton, Michigan, owned and operated by company co-founders Jenny and Chris McCuiston and President Andrew McCuiston. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place on Sept. 21.

The new school, located at Green Oak Village Place, will serve children aged 4 months through 12 years in a warm, 90-degree indoor pool. Goldfish Swim School's play-based Science of SwimPlay® curriculum combines guided play with instruction from trained team members. Small class sizes, including a 4-1 student-teacher ratio in many classes, give children personalized support to build on their safety skills and make meaningful progress with every lesson.

This swim school is operated daily by General Manager Katie MacCulley and Assistant General Manager Nikki Wattles. The opening coincides with Goldfish Swim School's 20th anniversary, marking two decades of helping children build confidence through swim instruction and water-safety education. With more than 200 locations across North America, Goldfish Swim School now has 13 locations in Michigan.
