Starbird Unleashes Sweet Heat with New Honey Chili Crisp Lineup

September 29, 2026 // Franchising.com // SAN FRANCISCO — Starbird is adding a new layer of flavor to its signature crispy chicken this fall with the launch of a new limited-time Honey Chili Crisp lineup. Beginning Sept. 29, guests can enjoy five new menu items featuring the brand’s sweet, sticky and spicy take on chili crisp.

Inspired by the bold flavors and distinctive crunch of chili crisp, traditionally made with infused chili oil, peppers, garlic and other aromatics, Starbird incorporates sweetness with honey and ginger, along with the brand's Nashville Spice for an extra kick.

The Honey Chili Crisp lineup is available across tenders, wings, a sandwich, salad and wrap, bringing the dynamic flavor combination to a range of Starbird guests favorites.

The Honey Chili Crisp lineup includes:

Honey Chili Crisp Tenders — Crispy chicken tenders with honey chili crisp, green onion, cilantro and sesame seeds, served with ginger aioli and additional honey chili crisp on the side.

Honey Chili Crisp Sandwich — A crispy chicken fillet topped with honey chili crisp, ginger aioli, cucumber, shredded iceberg lettuce and green cabbage, sesame seeds, green onion and cilantro on a toasted brioche bun.

Honey Crunch Salad — A romaine and cabbage blend topped with shaved red cabbage, shredded carrot, cucumbers, edamame and sliced crispy chicken tenders, finished with ginger aioli, green onion, chopped cilantro and Honey Crunch Crumble. Served with honey soy dressing on the side.

Honey Crunch Wrap — Two crispy chicken tenders and a romaine and cabbage blend wrapped in a grilled flour tortilla with red cabbage, carrot, cucumbers, edamame, green onion, cilantro, ginger aioli, honey soy dressing and Honey Crunch Crumble.

Honey Chili Crisp Wings — Chicken wings with honey chili crisp, green onion, cilantro and sesame seeds, served with ginger aioli and additional honey chili crisp on the side.
