Horchata Meets Bubble Tea with New Limited-Time Lineup at Gong cha

October 06, 2026 // Franchising.com // BOSTON, MA - This fall, Gong cha is bringing the creamy, cinnamon-forward flavor of horchata to the bubble tea menu with three new limited time drinks.

Beginning October 13, participating U.S. stores will introduce the Horchata Milk Tea with Pearls, Horchata Coffee Bobaccino with Pearls and Horchata Tea Bobaccino with Pearls.

Available for a limited time and while supplies last, the drinks pair the horchata flavor with milk tea and blended Bobaccino formats.

• NEW Horchata Milk Tea with Pearls: The drink combines horchata flavors with a milk tea base. Served over ice with boba pearls and topped with Milk Foam and a dusting of cinnamon.
• NEW Horchata Coffee Bobaccino with Pearls: A blended horchata beverage with coffee, finished with boba pearls, Milk Foam and a dusting of cinnamon.
• NEW Horchata Tea Bobaccino with Pearls: Horchata flavor with tea in a blended Bobaccino, finished with boba pearls, Milk Foam and a dusting of cinnamon.

“We wanted to give guests multiple ways to enjoy the creamy, cinnamon-forward flavor of horchata at Gong cha,” said Jenn Leitner, Vice President, Brand & Marketing, The Americas for Gong cha. “Guests can keep it cool and refreshing with our Horchata Milk Tea or go blended with our Coffee or Tea Bobaccino. We wanted to give guests options, because when you find a flavor you love, one way to enjoy it is never enough.”

Gong cha is celebrating its 20th anniversary. Throughout the year, special surprises and events are being unveiled. 

Guests can download the Gong cha Tea app for iOS and Android. The app allows users to skip the line by ordering ahead, customize their beverages, and earn loyalty points.
