October 14, 2026 // Franchising.com // McALLEN, Texas – Dickey’s Barbecue Pit is continuing its expansion in South Texas with a new location in McAllen opening on Tuesday, October 27 and making it easier than ever for fans to enjoy slow-smoked barbecue for everyday meals, group gatherings and catering occasions.

The non-traditional restaurant will operate inside the Cambria Hotel located at 701 S. Ware Road in McAllen. Owned by Franchisee, O’Reilly Hospitality Management, LLC, the McAllen location reflects a non-traditional model focused on convenience, offering streamlined online ordering, delivery and catering options for today’s on-the-go guests.

Beginning on October 27, guests can order directly through dickeys.com or the Dickey’s mobile app, as well as through delivery and catering platforms including Uber Eats, DoorDash and ezCater. Whether planning a family dinner, office lunch or large event, Dickey’s makes it easy to enjoy authentic Texas barbecue without the wait.

Dickey’s Barbecue Pit digital-only location is open daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. From slow-smoked brisket and pulled pork to classic homestyle sides, the McAllen location offers Dickey’s full menu, available for pickup, delivery and catering.
