Central Bark Achieves Historic Q3 Performance, Setting New Revenue Benchmark
MILWAUKEE, Nov. 3, 2026 // PRNewswire // -- Central Bark today announced its financial and operational results for the third quarter of 2026, delivering the strongest revenue period in company history.
During its third quarter, Central Bark saw 71% of its locations set all-time monthly revenue records. Average-unit-volume (AUV) surpassed $938,000 for locations open more than 24 months, while same-store sales grew 9.8% on a year-to-date basis.
The record-breaking performance comes during a strategic transition in executive leadership. In August, Chief Financial Officer Jason Perras was promoted to Chief Executive Officer. That same month, Central Bark debuted on the Inc. 5000 list of America's fastest-growing private companies.
Central Bark Poughkeepsie, New York, surpassed $1.7 million in trailing-twelve-month (TTM) revenue in its first 24 months open, making it the fastest Central Bark location in company history to reach that milestone.
Central Bark continued to expand its presence in Georgia with the October grand opening of its Athens location. The new store opening brings the brand's total footprint in the state to two locations and further extends its reach in the growing market.
Systemwide memberships also remained strong, reaching an all-time high and contributing to $38.6M in trailing-twelve-month (TTM) systemwide sales.
Central Bark continued to support franchisees with marketing, messaging, tools, and creative assets developed by the corporate team. The organization equipped franchises with advanced digital tools while helping to create a more efficient, tech-enabled experience for clients. Through their fully implemented point-of-sale system (POS), Central Bark further strengthened operations by supporting abandoned-booking recovery and automated drip campaigns.
Heading into the final quarter of the year, Central Bark is building on this momentum as they are on track to surpass $40M, marking yet another historic milestone. Growth plans for the remainder of 2026 include increased system sales and expansion objectives, such as new market entries, additional memberships and new store locations.
"Surpassing these historic milestones this quarter reflects the strength of our Whole Dog Care model and the commitment of our franchisee network to delivering exceptional care in their communities," said Central Bark CEO Jason Perras. "As we look toward 2027, we're focused on translating this momentum into our next phase of growth, strengthening our franchise system, expanding our reach, and continuing to raise the bar for what families can expect from dog care. We see significant opportunities ahead to build on our foundation, deepen our impact, and position Central Bark for an even stronger future."
