Operator Signs 15-Unit Mike's Red Tacos Deal

Restaurant operator Michael McGuire has signed a 15-unit franchise agreement with Mike's Red Tacos to develop the San Diego-born birria concept in Minnesota.

The agreement, led by experienced restaurant operator Michael McGuire and his family business, 825 Ventures, will bring Mike's Red Tacos' authentic birria and signature red tacos to Minnesota over the next 5 years. Operated by McGuire alongside his sons, Kavrin and Dillon, 825 Ventures reflects their shared family values and dedication to creating welcoming, community-centered restaurants. With more than 23 Jersey Mike's Subs locations currently open and several more in development, the McGuire family brings extensive multi-unit operational experience and a deep understanding of hospitality, consistency, and team culture.

The deal marks Mike's Red Tacos' first multi-unit franchise agreement.
