North Carolina-Based Multi-Unit Operator Opens New Zaxby's in Virginia

Chester, Virginia has its first Zaxby’s restaurant courtesy of multi-unit operator Travis Kelley. The new location, which features a number of the brand’s facility innovations, was set to open this week.

"We look forward to welcoming existing and new fans of Zaxby’s to our newly redesigned building with several innovative features to improve the overall dining experience for our guests," said Kelley, who is president of 1st and Goal Chester, LLC. “The look and feel of the new Chester store is different than any other Zaxby’s in the area.”

The Zaxby’s location features indoor seating, exterior patio, and drive-thru service with a new, double drive-thru layout.

1st and Goal Chester, LLC is a Cary, North Carolina-based company that owns and operates six Zaxby's restaurants. Three of those locations are in Chesterfield County, Virginia. Kelley says he is looking to add units in the Chesterfield County area and has plans to open more stores throughout the state of Virginia.

"We are extremely excited to be able to open this new location and provide upwards of 35 new employment opportunities to the Chester community," Kelley added.
