Curb-Ease Franchise Overview
About Curb-EaseCurb-Ease began operations in June of 1999 with an initial capital investment of $50,000.00. Financing was secured through a Federal Guaranteed Small Business Development Loan, administered by the Bank of Nova Scotia. The company was originally formed as a proprietorship belonging to Garry Tynan. The plan was to begin operating on a part time basis and build the business to a level where it could afford to support a full time effort. During the last 6 months of 1999 Curb-Ease generated good income and began to be recognized as a premium supplier of decorative landscape and commercial curbing. One of the key differences between their Curb-Ease product and other curbing products is that they always use integral concrete colors in their mixes, thus their landscape curbs are colored throughout. Others use only a slurry mix or release powder, which provides a thin "short-term" color. Color chips and fades from these types of curbs quickly. At Curb-Ease they have built their name and reputation on premium quality workmanship, products and service.
