Our franchise owners provide live-in and hourly personal care, companionship, and homemaker services for seniors and other homebound clients, so they can remain in the comfort of their own home.

Company History

HomeWell Senior Care's journey has evolved around making seniors' lives more comfortable. Founded in 1996 by Joshua Hoffman as Hoffman's Home Helpers, we became HomeWell Senior Care in 2002 and expanded into franchising by partnering with other care-motivated professionals in 2003.

At the age of 19, Joshua became a caregiver in a nursing home. The experience made an immediate impact on him. It instilled in him the desire to help people One-to-One. Joshua soon found himself working with a home care agency, giving non-medical care to seniors on a regular basis.

Joshua's greatest reward was the ability to make his clients comfortable and safe. He realized that heartfelt in-home care provided by the right Personal Assistant could enhance the quality of life of a senior. With that, HomeWell was born.
