Comfortkeepers.com Offers More Functionality and Resources for Seniors and Franchisees

DAYTON, Ohio (September 18, 2006) - With thousands of monthly visitors, the new Comfortkeepers.com offers several helpful online resources and improved functionality for both users and its franchisees.

The site includes new features like information about disease-specific care, confidential questionnaires for potential caregivers and interested franchise purchasers, an online newsroom and helpful links to several senior resources.

"It was time for us to completely overhaul the site both from a brand perspective and from a user perspective," said Jayson Sturgeon, IT Manager for CK Franchising, Inc. (CKFI) dba Comfort Keepers®. "The key was to develop a site that had the greatest amount of flexibility and functionality not only for potential clients, but also potential caregivers, existing owners and their employees and the many other user groups that are beginning to feel the impact of senior care needs. We believe we have done just that, ensuring that visitors to the site will find the most useful information about in-home senior care and the services Comfort Keepers has to offer."

Also new to the site is a section designed specifically for employers searching for a solution to the growing trend of employees faced with the challenges of quality care for their senior loved one. The section offers information about setting up a senior care employee assistance program and the benefits of doing so.

"At Comfort Keepers, we strive to be in front of the current trends like employee assistance programs and disease-specific care," stated Jim Booth, CEO of CKFI. "Our goal is to provide the most valuable information to those in need of care. In doing so, we can often times make the care decision less stressful for family and friends."

Comfort Keepers offices provide in-home care services such as companionship, light housekeeping, dressing and grooming guidance, meal preparation, grocery shopping, and incidental transportation services. In addition, most Comfort Keepers offices provide personal care services. In addition to providing their services to seniors, Comfort Keepers provides much-needed help to the baby boomers who are struggling to take care of their aging parents in the form of "respite care."

The company views the web as a critical marketing channel for all of the audiences it services and plans to continue looking for opportunities to upgrade their site with resources, news feeds and more operational features for owners. Plans for 2007 and 2008 are already in development.
