Gourmet Hamburger Recipes Created By Local Kids Will Be Feature In Cookbook
(Wednesday, May 16, 2007) - Remember the two local kids, Zac Tennant and Cheyene Austin? They concocted hamburger dishes that grabbed them finalist and semi-finalist fame in Red Robin's "The Next Gourmet Burger Kids Contest."
Now their recipes are featured in the "The Next Gourmet Burger Kids Contest" Cookbook, along with other young hamburger chefs across the country.
The cookbook will be on sale at Red Robin restaurants and online at www.redrobin.com for $5 plus tax from now to July 15. Profits from the cookbooks sold during that timeframe will go to support the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).
Besides recipes, the cookbook includes confidence-building tips from NCMEC and safer ways to respond to potentially dangerous situations as well as ice-breakers, so families can discuss them. May 25 is National Missing Children Day.
Here are their prize-winning recipes. For more, run down to Red Robin or order the new cookbook online.
