The Accelerator by Money Mailer: Case Study

Money Mailer recently announced its new 12-month franchise business development program. The "Accelerator" program assists new franchisees through their entire first year of operation, providing a variety of services and support designed to jumpstart their business.

Kris Koutalis, Money Mailer of Waukesha, WI, was the first candidate to take advantage of the Accelerator benefits. She launched her first mailing on May 8, 2007.

Below are some of the benefits included through the Accelerator program:

The Accelerator lead generation system includes 14,000 postcards, netting 2,000 postcards per mailing for 7 cycles. Followed up with 430 hours of professional telemarketing across the 7 cycles with the goal of setting 10 appointments per week for prospects in key Money Mailer business categories.

For Koutalis, using Accelerator was an easy option. Her former business experience was solely in the IT industry at a software company. Without any sales or marketing background, Koutalis found the Accelerator program provided her with the materials and extra push needed to excel with her new Money Mailer franchise.

As the first Accelerator franchisee, Koutalis has found the program's tools beneficial in setting her up for a successful first mailing. She recently used her grand opening marketing allowance towards joining her local chamber of commerce, as well as sponsoring several local charitable activities to help build brand recognition in her territory.

Koutalis is currently working with a variety of local businesses through the program's lead generation efforts, including Subway, Great Northern BBQ Company, American Advantage Insurance, and Lake Country Auto Spa.
