Money Mailer Announces New Executive Team
New Positions Created to Help Execute Company's Expansion of Current Operation and Services
August 29, 2007 // Franchising.com // Garden Grove, CA -- Money Mailer, a quality leader in the $62 billion direct mail industry since 1979, has announced its new executive team that has been developed to increase national accounts, brand awareness and an overall newly structured marketing organization.
Steven Gray has been announced as the new Chief Operating Officer of the expanding company. Gray's appointment is just one of several key additions to the Money Mailer team in recent weeks, as Money Mailer bolsters and upgrades its sales and marketing functions. Gray will head up this effort overseeing franchise operations, franchise licensing, marketing, national accounts and corporate sales.
Prior to joining Money Mailer, Gray was Senior Vice President, National Markets for Harte-Hanks, Inc., a global leader in the direct and targeted marketing industry.
Klaus Schlechner has been promoted to the position of Vice President of Marketing. Schlechner re-joined Money Mailer in April 2007 as Director and Special Assistant to the CEO. In his new role, Schlechner will oversee the various departments within the company's marketing organization, including, Marketing Analytics, Marketing Communications and Product Development.
In 2001, Schlechner headed the Field Marketing Department for Money Mailer. For the past two years, he worked at Young & Rubicam/Wunderman where he led strategic marketing efforts for Jaguar and Land Rover of North America, including interactive marketing efforts.
Melissa Chyba also has joined the company as Vice President of National Sales. Chyba will be responsible for oversight of the company's national and regional direct marketing sales efforts.
Prior to her joining Money Mailer, Chyba was a District Sales Manager with Advo where she was responsible for a large sales team that generated more than $40 million in annual sales. She brings more than ten years experience to Money Mailer.
"We are more than excited to have Steven Gray, Klaus Schlechner and Melissa Chyba as a part of the Money Mailer team," said Godfred Otuteye, president and CEO of Money Mailer. "They all hold great knowledge in both sales and marketing, and we are eager to see each utilize their experience to help lead the way for our current and future company objectives."
The key to Money Mailers' growth is integrating shared mail, one-to-one and interactive direct marketing solutions. Extending advertisers reach through these channels becomes a value-added differentiator in the marketplace for our franchisees and our national sales organization, Gray added.
There are approximately 23 million local small businesses constantly looking for cost-effective tools to market their goods and services. Money Mailer's franchisees perform as small business consultants, helping local businesses in their own community grow and fulfill their "American Dream" through the power of direct mail advertising.
