Rent-N-Roll To Re-Brand As RNR Custom Wheels And Tires

September 26, 2007 // Franchising.com // Tampa, FL – Larry Sutton, President of RENT-N-ROLL, LLC, revealed plans to re-brand RENT-N-ROLL Custom Wheels and Tires to RNR Custom Wheels and Tires. Sutton stated: "For some time, we have realized that to gain a stronger foothold in the 35 billion dollar automotive aftermarket, we must find a way to position ourselves as a wheel and tire store that offers several payment options and attractive cash prices as well; as opposed to a Rent-to-Own store with wheels and tires. In late August I met with the Executive Advisory Board (EAB), which is a group of our most successful franchisees, and laid out plans for the evolution of the RNR Brand."

"In existing ADI markets where we have invested a lot of marketing funds in the RENT-n-ROLL brand, we will be evolving over a 2 to 3 year period by adding RNR, POS, Advertising, store fixtures, store design elements, jingle, etc. As existing customers get more exposure to RNR branding, we believe they will come to know and refer to us as RNR Custom Wheels and Tires. In new markets with no previous RENT-N-ROLL exposure, we will be opening with the RNR Branding package. Even with-in the RNR branding package, RENT-N-ROLL still has a presence, as the name of our RENT-TO-OWN program instead of the name of the store."

When asked if RNR Custom Wheels and Tires is abandoning the Rent-to-Own concept, Sutton responded, "On the contrary, we believe this new branding model will in fact bring more customers into our store, providing us more opportunities to introduce a whole new customer to the concept of Rent-to-Own. Our demographic already tell us that at least 50 to 60% of our current RTO customers have never used the rent-to-own agreement before."

We believe the RNR BRAND will expand the number of potential customers visiting our stores, providing us with not only a much larger retail opportunity, but will also increase

the RTO opportunity, as well. We will also be beta-testing additional Automotive Aftermarket products in several markets. Recent survey results indicate that typical new vehicle owners spend between $1,000 and $3,500 within 90 days purchase to create the custom ride they want; custom wheels being the number one item.

In other RNR news, RENT-N-ROLL, LLC, parent company of the concept, just completed construction on a brand new home for the original RENT-N-ROLL store in Tampa. The new store is a state of the art custom wheels and tire facility, featuring a 2500 sq. ft. showroom, a 500 sq. ft. training center, a comfortable customer waiting room, lounge, and a modern three bay garage with the latest and top of the line equipment.

Sutton stated, "This facility is exactly the model we will be seeking to replicate in every market going forward. The Grand Opening will be taking place beginning October 1st.

The company is on track to reach over 50 million dollars in revenue this year, making it one of the largest custom wheel chains in the U.S.
