1-2-3 Fit Renews Partnership With The Salvation Army

November 9, 2007 (Denver,CO) – Today, nationwide neighborhood fitness center, 1-2-3 Fit, announced its' renewed participation in The Salvation Army's Angel Tree program. The program works with local businesses to provide toys and clothing to needy families during the holidays. Working together, the two organizations will collect and distribute gifts throughout local communities and help bring some holiday cheer to families in need of assistance.
During the week of November 13th, each 1-2-3 Fit location, including the home office, will begin collecting gifts by placing an Angel Tree inside the club displaying gift tags provided by The Salvation Army. Each tag represents a child in need and includes their age and gift suggestions. Members and employees of 1-2-3 Fit will be encouraged to select tags from the tree, purchase the gift and return it to the club. The Salvation Army will return to each location to pick up the gifts on December 15th, just in time to distribute them for the holidays.
The Salvation Army's Angel Tree program typically runs throughout the holiday season and attracts business sponsors from across the nation. 1-2-3 Fit is participating in the program for the second year. During the month-long drive, incentives will be offered to new and current members who donate to the Angel Tree Program.
"We are again honored to participate in The Salvation Army Angel Tree Program," said 1-2-3 Fit's CEO, Brooksy Smith. "1-2-3 Fit is a neighborhood fitness center dedicated to the health and well-being of the communities in which we operate. The Angel Tree partnership is an ideal way for us to give back to local families in need."
