Thrifty Car Sales Enhances Business Development Center With Deployment of New Customer Management System

TULSA, Okla., Dec. 10 // PRNewswire-FirstCall // -- Thrifty Car Sales, a subsidiary of Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group, Inc. (NYSE: DTG), has enhanced its national business development center (BDC) with the implementation of new software created for Thrifty Car Sales by MyGoalTracking, a leader in customer relationship management (CRM). The deployment of the new system is expected to significantly impact the effectiveness of Thrifty Car Sales' marketing efforts on behalf of its national network of franchised used car dealerships.

Available exclusively to Thrifty Car Sales dealers, the business development center utilizes dedicated telephone sales agents who take incoming phone calls generated by dealers' marketing efforts. Among the capabilities of the new system:

* It is a true web-based application and can be accessed from anywhere via the Internet;
* Easy input of customer data by dealers' sales staff;

* Produces automatic scheduling of follow-up calls, letters and e-mails.
