Marc Geman, CEO of Spicy Pickle Franchising, Inc., commented: "We were patiently waiting for the development to occur at Harmony and Timberline as our demographics told us that this was an ideal location for both our daytime customers as well as households that can generate an evening business. Everyone looks for additional day parts and this location along with our previous opening in San Diego are proving that a profitable early evening business is available in the right locations. We are glad to have the restaurant open and added to our corporate restaurant program in Colorado.

"We have several more openings coming up and therefore are looking for both increased revenue from our franchise royalties as well as top line revenue through our corporately run restaurants. The short term sales results of new restaurants opened this year is encouraging and supports our time and attention spent on locations and demographics. The first quarter results are the beginning of these revenue increases. We are still covering the expenses of the infrastructure we have built to expand our franchise and corporate programs but we are making progress on both fronts."
