Red Lion Hotels Corporation Announces Management Additions in Project Management and Operations

SPOKANE, Wash., June 23 // PRNewswire-FirstCall // -- Red Lion Hotels Corporation (NYSE: RLH) announced today that Paul Bolton has joined its team as Vice President, Design, Construction and Engineering. He assumes the responsibility for all aspects of hotel facilities including design, construction, engineering services and development of existing and newly-converted Red Lion hotels. He will report to George Schweitzer, the company's Senior Vice President, Hotel Operations.

Anupam Narayan, President and Chief Executive Officer of Red Lion Hotels Corporation, commented, "Paul comes to our company with a wealth of experience in both the hospitality industry and construction." Most recently, Mr. Bolton served as Senior Project Manager of Design and Construction with Sunstone Hotels. Some of the more notable projects he handled were the W hotel in San Diego, New York's Hilton Times Square, and the Long Beach Renaissance Hotel. Prior to his work at Sunstone, Mr. Bolton served as a general contractor in three states, operating his own construction and design company.

Mr. Narayan concluded, "Paul has a long history with Red Lion, having spent 17 years in design, construction and maintenance with the brand prior to 1997. I look forward to his leadership in this area."

Red Lion Hotels Corporation also announced today that John Rogers joined the company as Vice President, Hotel Operations. He will be assuming responsibility for operations at some of our key hotels including those in Spokane, Denver, and Salt Lake City. He also reports to Schweitzer.

Mr. Narayan noted, "John comes to Red Lion with much experience, but most of all a true passion and enthusiasm that personifies our mission of providing personalized and exuberant service." Most recently, Mr. Rogers served as Vice President at Hart Hotels, where he oversaw that company's vacation club operations and condominium hotels. Prior to that, he served as Regional Vice President for Sunstone Hotels, overseeing 10 of that company's properties and serving as Sunstone's liaison for Marriott Hotels. Mr. Narayan continued, "Like Paul Bolton, John is also a former Red Lion employee, having started with the brand in 1979. We are excited to have a person with his commitment to service return to the 'Pride'."
