Nearly 20 additional Labor Finders offices gain WRC certification

Offices in Florida and Georgia complete risk management training program specifically designed for staffing companies, joining other Labor Finders locations

September 29, 2008 // Franchising.com // Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.,, 2008—Labor Finders International is pleased to announce that 16 of its franchised offices recently received Workers' Compensation and Risk Certification (WRC), demonstrating an increased commitment to both worker and client safety. The WRC program, which was created by the American Staffing Association (ASA) and Risk Control Services (RCS), publicly recognizes companies that operate at the highest levels in safety and risk management.

Earlier this month, 14 Georgia Labor Finders offices, franchised by Jiudicy, Inc., and two Florida offices, operated by Designated, Inc., joined 21 additional Labor Finders offices across the country that have received this elite certification.

"It has always been important at Labor Finders to maintain the highest operational standards in the industry," said Jeffrey Burnett, president and CEO of Labor Finders International. "We've been involved with the WRC program for several years, and I'm proud that more of our offices are going the extra mile to demonstrate their commitment to worker and client safety."

WRC was created in 2005 by the ASA and RCS to establish a standard of operational excellence in risk management for the staffing industry, reduce operating costs for staffing firms and accelerate the development of voluntary workers' compensation markets for the industry. Drawing influence from the ISO family of standards, the certification program evaluates several key components of a staffing firm's operational structure as they relate to risk management practices.

The American Staffing Association promotes the interests of its members through legal and legislative advocacy, public relations, education and the establishment of high standards of ethical conduct. The association's member companies operate more than 15,000 offices across the nation and account for 85 percent of U.S. industry sales. Risk Control Services, the nation's fourth-largest independent risk management consulting firm, has worked with the staffing industry for 18 years and conducts ongoing auditing of the operations of each WRC certified company. Annual audits are a requirement to maintain certification.

Labor Finders International, a franchise company, is the country's oldest and largest privately held industrial labor staffing company. As Labor Finders approaches the opening of its 300th office, the company is poised to continue with its 33-year tradition of leadership as the country's top name and resource in the business of temporary industrial staffing.
