Weichert Management Dynamics Offers Operational Blue Print for Affiliate Brokers

December 16, 2008 // Franchising.com // Morris Plains, N.J., – Weichert Real Estate Affiliates, Inc., has launched Management Dynamics, a consulting and support program designed to assist Weichert affiliates in their business operations.

Management Dynamics commits brokers to the same routines and systems that Weichert, Realtors president and founder Jim Weichert utilized to build a one-office brokerage in to one of the nation's largest independently owned real estate companies. The program provides Weichert affiliates with support in several key areas including lead management, marketing, training, recruiting, financial analysis and cash management.

"Weichert offers a business format franchise similar to McDonalds and other extremely successful and consistent businesses," said Mark Hanna, vice president of business development for Weichert Real Estate Affiliates. "Just as a fast-food chain shares their 'secret recipe' with its franchisees, Weichert provides all the directions you need to operate a brokerage. It's just up to the broker to put all the ingredients together."

Through Management Dynamics, Weichert Real Estate Affiliates (WREA) business development consultants will conduct in depth business reviews with each affiliate on a quarterly basis. In between, member services managers will routinely follow up with each broker to answer questions, provide advice and review their progress on action items from the business review meeting.

As part of the program, each Weichert affiliated office will be evaluated weekly based on a series of performance indicators. This will allow WREA to provide individual coaching in areas of need to each broker and allow them to track their progress in these efforts.

In addition to coaching and support, training is a critical component of Management Dynamics. WREA will offer management development training quarterly through its existing regional broker council meetings. The company will also offer regular "PODS" Webinars – that is targeted and interactive training for groups of brokers united by a commonality such as geography, office size or another shared concern.

To further assist management development for affiliates, WREA will expand the management-related training at its annual convention and its yearly management retreat. The company will also expand its online training and resource library on its intranet site, WeichertOne.com, and create a forum and blog section to allow brokers to share information, discuss management-related topics and network.

WREA, the franchise arm of Weichert, Realtors®, launched its first franchised office in January 2002 and currently serves more than 300 markets in 36 states.
