JMWeichert Group Chose to Market The Beacon in Jersey City to Brokerage Community

April 23, 2009 // Franchising.com // Morris Plains, N.J., – Developers in New Jersey's urban marketplace continue to turn to the JMWeichertGroup as the marketing and sales solution of choice for their high-end, multi-family projects. Most recently, the company was retained by Metrovest to promote The Beacon, a thoroughly modern condominium community created from a classic Art Deco landmark in Jersey City, N.J., to the brokerage community in New Jersey, Manhattan and Brooklyn.

Supported by the resources of Weichert, Realtors, the JMWeichertGroup will market The Beacon to real estate brokers and salespersons in geographically targeted areas via Regional Weichert Broker Outreach Associates. This broker marketing network will increase traffic and sales by conducting presentations, coordinating e-mail campaigns, hosting broker events, and acting as a liaison between the brokerage community and the project's onsite sales team.

In addition, a specialized team of Weichert sales associates will provide an immediate, live response 81 hours per week to all incoming Web forms, phone calls and voicemails of prospects generated by JMWeichertGroup's marketing of The Beacon through Weichert.com.

The Beacon community is the result of the largest historic restoration project in New Jersey history. Featuring 2 million square feet of residential and retail space, the new "city within a city" is located on the highest geographical point in Jersey City. Metrovest's strong commitment to restore the former Jersey City Medical Center to its Art Deco glory includes rebuilding and restoring the buildings' entire façades using the strictest of methods and materials, and restoring the protected interior spaces rich with historic detail and character.

The result is 315 one- and two-bedroom condominium residences that have been restored and seamlessly combined with luxury and modern conveniences. The Beacon also features hotel-style amenities including shuttle service to PATH trains and ferries, valet parking and individual storage spaces, as well as more than 50,000 square feet of amenities with a 24-hour fitness club, spa facility, great room with catering kitchen and dining room, children's playroom, sundeck, four rooftop terraces and a private screening room. A rooftop restaurant, gourmet market and town center with retail shops are expected to become a part of this mixed-use community.

"At The Beacon, JMWeichertGroup will leverage its extensive network of brokers, advanced lead capture and conversion system, and talented management and sales team as part of the company's customized approach," said James Weichert, Jr., vice president of the JMWeichertGroup. "We are proud to be a part of this historic restoration project."

An affiliate of Weichert, Realtors, the JMWeichertGroup excels at creating value for urban, mixed-use and resort new developments through a specialized platform of research, marketing and onsite sales. The company drives results for its clients by combining the expertise of its superior team of new-home professionals with the cutting edge resources of one of the largest independently owned residential real estate companies in the nation.

Weichert has nearly 18,000 sales associates in approximately 500 company-owned and franchised sales offices in key markets throughout the U.S. A family of full-service real estate and financial services companies, Weichert helps customers buy and sell both residential and commercial real estate, and streamlines the delivery of mortgages and home and title insurance.
