Snap-on Hosts Regional Partnership Summit atNew Innovation Works Facility
Kenosha, Wis., (BUSINESS WIRE) -- As part of the grand opening of its "Innovation Works" facility in Kenosha, Snap-on Incorporated (NYSE:SNA), a leading global innovator, manufacturer and marketer of tools, diagnostics and equipment solutions for professional users, hosted a Regional Partnership Summit on May 29. The summit, which was titled "Innovation and Workforce Development to Meet Changing Markets and Technology," featured prominent regional leaders from education, government and industry.
Wisconsin Governor Jim Doyle attended the event. In addition, the summit featured presentations and discussions by other experts and leaders on key market and technology issues and initiatives impacting the workforce. Among those making presentations included the State of Wisconsin Workforce Development Secretary, Roberta Glassman; Bryan Albrecht, president of Gateway Technical College; and Dr. Glenn Bower of the University of Wisconsin.
