RadioShack Increases Share Repurchase Program by $200 Million

FORT WORTH, Texas, Aug. 20 // PRNewswire-FirstCall // -- RadioShack Corporation today announced that its Board of Directors has approved the repurchase of an additional $200 million of RadioShack's common stock under its existing share repurchase program. With the addition of the $200 million approval, RadioShack has authority to purchase a total of approximately $290 million of RadioShack's common stock under the existing share repurchase program.

The increase in the authorization does not have an expiration date and purchases under the authorization are anticipated to be made from time to time.
