InterContinental Hotels & Resorts launches Meetings Options
New meetings package helps planners make their budgets go even further
September 28, 2009 // Franchising.com // Now more than ever, it's important for meeting planners to demonstrate value for money when booking meetings and events. InterContinental Hotels & Resorts is responding to this need by launching Meetings Options, a cost effective, fully flexible meetings package that offers great savings for meeting planners.
New bespoke meetings package from InterContinental Hotels & Resorts Available at close to 60 hotels across Europe, Middle East and Africa, Meetings Options is a bespoke package that allows meeting planners the flexibility to choose the elements that best suit their needs. Meeting planners can choose three additional benefits from a choice of nine. These include complimentary guest room upgrades, complimentary welcome reception, Priority Club® Rewards Points vouchers. Guests may also make donations amounting to 1% of total net rooms revenue to National Geographic Society's Center for Sustainable Destinations.
Meetings Options also comes with a special attrition allowance of up to 30%, so that in the event actual delegate numbers decrease from the time of booking, meeting planners may have the benefit of spending less. Meetings Options is available for all group bookings of 10 guestrooms or more. The offer is valid until 31 August 2010.

InterContinental London Park Lane:
Located in the heart of London between Mayfair and Knightsbridge, InterContinental London Park Lane is within walking distance of the British capital's top attractions, so delegates can really get a flavour of the city. The dedicated contemporary events space occupies and entire floor, with certain rooms offering floor to ceiling windows that overlook Park Lane and Hyde Park. There are 13 meeting rooms in total for groups of between four people to 750.
InterContinental Paris Le Grand:
Epitomising the glamour of Paris, InterContinental Paris Le Grand is ideal for culture enthusiasts. The hotel is situated on the Place de l'Opera, close to landmarks such as Place Vendôme and the Louvre Museum as well as the shopping and theatre districts. There are 21 different meeting rooms to choose from, including the historic Salon Opera, which is a listed Parisian monument. The hotel can accommodate events for between 10 to 600 delegates, and has extensive exhibition space.
InterContinental Dubai Festival City:
Located by the historic Dubai Creek with contemporary architecture inspired by a graceful sailboat, InterContinental Dubai Festival City is linked to a 3,800 square metre Event Centre, with five additional meeting rooms. The facility can cater to groups from eight to 1,450 people.
InterContinental Berlin has existed in the city for 50 years and is located minutes from the government quarter, historic centre, shopping districts and the world-famous Potsdamer Platz and Kurfürstendamm Boulevard. The hotel has excellent meeting facilities with 33 different meeting rooms and the ability to accommodate large scale conferences and events. Room capacity ranges from eight to 2,500.
