Company Debuts New Travel Mugs; $.50 from Each Sale Supports Breast Cancer Programs and Research

GRANTS PASS, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dutch Bros. Coffee, a fun loving and spirited drive-thru coffee company with 150 locations throughout the Western United States, is unveiling its newest travel mugs in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October. The 12 ounce mugs are available in pink or blue and sport the iconic breast cancer awareness pink ribbon. Fifty cents from each mug sold will be donated to Susan G. Komen for the Cure to further breast cancer programs and research. Dutch Bros.' fundraising goal is $5,000.

The mugs are available starting today at all Dutch Bros. Coffee stands in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, California, Nevada, Colorado and Arizona. Mugs will be sold for $10 and include a free Dutch Bros. Coffee drink at time of purchase. The mugs will be available throughout the month of October, or until supplies last.

"We've always wanted to do something to support breast cancer programs and research, so we're hoping this mug promotion will rally our generous customers to help us raise money for Komen for the Cure," said Dutch Bros. Coffee co-founder, Travis Boersma. "At Dutch Bros., we're all about giving back to the communities in which we serve; October seemed like the perfect time to support breast cancer research."

The company hosts a variety of fundraiser days for non-profit organizations such as Muscular Dystrophy Association and American Cancer Society, as well as reinvests one percent of annual gross sales back into the community, donating nearly $750,000 companywide in 2008 to nonprofit organizations.
