WineStyles Celebrates Five-Year Anniversary of First Location

International Wine Boutique's First Store in Springfield, MO turned five this November

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. // PRNewswire // -- WineStyles, an international wine boutique simplifying the wine experience, celebrated the five-year anniversary of the company's first location in Springfield, MO. Designed to transport customers into an old-world wine cellar, WineStyles is a unique concept that allows customers to choose wines based on their individual taste preferences such as crisp, silky, rich and bubbly or fruity, mellow, bold and nectar styles. Each store features a rotating selection of over 170 world-class wines from unique labels, and hard-to-find wines from small and large vineyards around the world. Furthermore, most of the wines are priced from $10 to $25 per bottle. "Five years in business in one location is a significant achievement for any small business owner and we're proud to celebrate our Springfield location," said Robert Spuck, CEO of WineStyles. "Their longevity is a testament to our core mission of taking the guesswork out of buying and enjoying wine. Whether you're a novice or a wine enthusiast, we believe wine should just taste good and not necessarily be judged based on price point or region." In addition to the Springfield store, WineStyles in Columbia, SC will be celebrating their five-year anniversary early next year. Currently, WineStyles has over 100 locations open across the U.S. and two stores in Mexico and Puerto Rico. Most recently, WineStyles opened new locations in Bolingbrook, IL, Frankfort, IL, Hastings, NE, and their first store opening in Kentucky next month. "The strength of our wines, innovative business model, distinctive design and franchisee network are the reasons we've succeeded over the past five years," said Spuck. "Our extensive training, operational support, integrated marketing platforms and open communication channels are just some examples of why our store owners are able to achieve these significant small business milestones." To help fuel this growth in 2010, WineStyles recently launched its Masters Wine Panel, which is led by Doug Frost who is one of three people in the world to hold the distinction of being certified both a Master of Wine and Master Sommelier. Under Frost's leadership, the Masters Wine Panel, which is comprised of five other Masters of Wine or Master Sommeliers, provides expert guidance in selecting and discovering great wines from exclusive wineries that span the globe for WineStyles' nearly 20,000 Wine Club members. Each month, the WineStyles Masters Wine Panel collaboratively rates and recommends the bottles of wine that are included in its Wine Club.
