Smashburger to Heat Up Orlando in 2010

"Better Burger" Restaurant Partners with Smash Bash, LLC to Open 20 Stores over Five Years

ORLANDO, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Smashburger, a fast-casual, "better burger" restaurant, and Smash Bash, LLC have teamed up to bring 100-percent Angus beef burgers to Orlando. The city's first Smashburger will open in early 2010.

"We know Orlando residents and its millions of tourists will quickly make Smashburger its favorite burger place." .Smash Bash, LLC (managed by Sunshine Restaurant Corp.) brings Smashburger many years of franchise industry experience. Smash Bash, LLC will open 20 Orlando Smashburgers over the five years.

Named for the cooking method used to create the perfect burger, Smashburgers start with a one-third or half-pound ball of 100-percent Angus beef—fresh, not frozen—smashed, seared and seasoned on a grill. Served on a butter-toasted artisan bun and topped with a selection of real cheeses, the freshest produce and top-quality condiments.

The restaurant also serves delicious Smashchicken, Smashdogs and Smashsalads, with sides like veggie frites and rosemary and garlic-seasoned Smashfries. Diners can also enjoy Häagen-Dazs shakes, root beer floats, beer and wine with their meal.

"Smashburger is excited to partner with Smash Bash, LLC as it expands into Orlando," says Smashburger President Scott Crane. "I know that Smashburger's Orlando arrival is anticipated by the city's burger lovers."

"We are thrilled to bring Smashburger to Orlando," says Andy Gross, President of SmashBash, LLC. "We know Orlando residents and its millions of tourists will quickly make Smashburger its favorite burger place."
