Award-Winning Marketing Campaign Fuels PuroClean's Record Franchise Growth in 2009

March 29, 2010 // Franchising.com // Ft. Lauderdale, FL – In the midst of one of the worst economic downturns in U.S. history, PuroClean, the nation's fastest growing property emergency services franchise, attracted more than 3,400 qualified franchise prospect in 2009, which led to 88 new franchises sold. The 25 percent increase in 2009 franchise leads over last year is largely credited to the company's innovative Franchise Force campaign, a marketing initiative that rallied franchise brokers around a single cause: saving entrepreneurs through the sale of economy-resistant PuroClean franchises.

Through colorful, animated themed marketing collateral, PuroClean encouraged brokers to join the Franchise Force and help save hopeful entrepreneurs from the "evil villain" – otherwise known as the recession. The brokers received posters, buttons, and other materials featuring the Marvel comic-style characters to keep PuroClean top of mind when speaking to prospects about various franchise options.

"At Murphy Business, we experienced PuroClean's great marketing campaign leading up to our Conference last October," said Diane Miller, Vice President of Franchise Development for Murphy Business & Financial Corp. "I have never seen any campaign quite like it. It was fun, catchy and had a story line. The culmination of the campaign came at the conference when our brokers received PuroClean storybook posters and flyers. Who said you couldn't mix business with pleasure!"

The Franchise Force campaign was recently awarded a Gold ADDY® Award and the Judges Award by the American Advertising Federation's Ft. Lauderdale chapter, which recognizes businesses and organizations across the country for their creativity on the marketing front. Additionally, PuroClean won two Silver ADDY® Awards for the materials they created for their 2009 convention in Orlando, FL.

"We're very proud of the success of the Franchise Force campaign," said Marci Kleinsasser, Vice President of Marketing for PuroClean. "It's truly rewarding to know that our efforts played a role in helping nearly 100 entrepreneurs find a business opportunity that would allow them to not only survive but thrive during a very trying time in our economy."

The PuroClean team credited for producing the award-winning marketing materials include: Kleinsasser, Michelle Jasinski - Art Director and Natalie Zupo - Marketing Specialist.
