Promotion Includes New Campaign That Supports Camps To Make Dreams Come True for Children with Serious Medical Conditions

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. /PRNewswire via COMTEX News Network/ -- Reignite the campfire and take a trip down memory lane with Krispy Kreme's newest flavor-filled limited-time offerings.

Now through May 30, Krispy Kreme is bringing families and friends together with a delicious duo of campfire-inspired treats. No camping trip is complete without S'mores, and Krispy Kreme has created a yummy interpretation of this classic snack--the S'mores doughnut. This new oldie but goodie has a delicious Kreme(TM) filling, and is topped with chocolate icing and graham cracker crumbles--sure to be the treasured treat of the season. Krispy Kreme is also offering another scrumptious option for fireside chats--the Chocolate Fudge Cake doughnut, featuring Hershey's(R) cocoa. Taking the yum factor to new heights, this chocolate cake doughnut is blended with Hershey's cocoa, glazed and topped with chocolate icing and chocolate sprinkles.

Krispy Kreme is partnering with the Association of Hole in the Wall Camps(SM), an international family of camps and programs that provide life-changing experiences to children with serious illnesses and life-threatening medical conditions, free of charge. The Krispy Kreme Happy Campers campaign is a 35-day initiative to help sponsor children to a full session at one of five participating camps across the country. Beginning April 26, customers can support the campaign by donating at their local participating store or online.

Krispy Kreme's Campfire Treats promotion is available now and will remain in participating U.S. Krispy Kreme retail stores through May 30. Product offerings will vary by markets. The Krispy Kreme Happy Campers campaign will begin on April 26 and last until May 30.
