Fatburger Sponsors E League, Brings Triple King Challenge To Center Court

May 13, 2010 // Franchising.com // Los Angeles – The stars came out on May 8 for "Super Saturday's" Championship playoff finale and All-Star Game for the E League, Hollywood's premier private celebrity basketball league. Spotted on court were Dean Cain, Clark Gregg, Brandon Routh, Jay Harrington and Shane Mosley.

Torrance, California resident Rod Sakamoto won his first Triple King Challenge, beating all competitors by being the first to finish a Fatburger Triple King Burger (three 8 oz beef patties - 24 oz total, lettuce, tomato, pickles, relish, onion, mustard and mayo) in one sitting. For his efforts, Mr. Sakamoto received 52 "Fatchecks," a T-shirt, certificate and his photo permanently displayed on the "Carnivores Wall of Fame."

Fatburger was a main sponsor of the entire E League season, as well as Super Saturday Games, playoffs and exclusive wrap party, held at M1-6 nightclub in Hollywood, CA. The company's Fatmobile was a regular fixture at E League games, serving Fatburgers, turkey burgers and veggie burgers to hungry players and fans.
