Holiday Inn Franchise give couples a romance lifeline
July 05, 2010 // Franchising.com // Holiday Inn has introduced a second honeymoon rate at hotels across Europe, the Middle East and Africa this summer, so romance strapped couples can feed some love back into their relationships.
Traditionally a once in a lifetime event, the honeymoon is one of the most romantic experiences in a marriage. With one in three marriages ending in divorce and marriage on the decline, re-creating those magic moments has never been so important.
With the new Holiday Inn second honeymoon rate, offering a 25 per cent discount for stays between 5 July and 31 August 2010, there's no need to fork out a fortune to make a bold romantic gesture.
Kirsten Gronning, family expert at BreakupAngels and Wikivorce.com comments: "Romance in relationships dwindles the longer the couple has been together. Studies show that for every five years in a relationship, romance levels reduce by 15 - 20%, on average, with romance tending to be neglected when life gets hectic. Holiday Inn's second honeymoon offer is a great idea that can only help re-cement and rekindle relationships."
Karin Sheppard, spokesperson for Holiday Inn comments: "Honeymoons are often remembered as the most romantic time in a married couple's life. Romance shouldn't stop once the wedding dress goes into storage. Whether it's champagne in Cardiff or candle light in Cape Town the Holiday Inn second honeymoon rate offers a wallet friendly solution for married couples looking to rev up the romance."
The Holiday Inn second honeymoon rate is available at 163 hotels across Europe, the Middle East and Africa in locations including London, Paris, Barcelona, Moscow, Turin, Valencia, Madrid, Vienna, Cape Town, the Algarve and Greece.
The Holiday Inn second honeymoon offer applies to any reservation at Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express hotels across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, for stays between 5 July and 31 August 2010 (booked between 5 and 18 July 2010), when presenting a second honeymoon rate voucher and a photograph taken on your first honeymoon, when you check in. The voucher can be downloaded from www.holidayinn.com/secondhoneymoonrate.
