FASTSIGNS(R) Franchise to Promote Conversion Program at National Business Media Show; Host Luncheons on Best Practices

July 27, 2010 // Franchising.com // Carrollton, Texas – FASTSIGNS International, Inc., the world's premier business-to-business marketing solution franchise with more than 530 locations, will be exhibiting and hosting two luncheons at the National Business Media (NBM) Show in Long Beach, California, August 12 -14, 2010.

FASTSIGNS® executives – CEO Catherine Monson and Senior Vice President of Franchise Development Mark Jameson – will be speaking with independent sign shop owners about the company's franchise opportunity and national conversion program and will also be exhibiting during show hours (Booth #444). Monson and Jameson will also be hosting a luncheon on Thursday, August 12 from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm and Friday, August 13 from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm. Reservations are required.

"As a leader in the sign and graphic industry, we will be speaking to independent sign shop operators about our conversion program, sharing success stories, lessons learned and best practices," said Monson. "To be successful in today's economy, it is absolutely essential that concepts review, revise, refresh and strengthen their processes, programs and offerings and share what works with others."

The conversion initiative allows independent owners to partner with FASTSIGNS in reaching their full potential and long-term goals. According to Jameson, FASTSIGNS has successfully converted several stores throughout the country, including recently signed deals in Toronto Canada, Fernandina Beach, Florida and Williamsport Pennsylvania, noting the growing interest in graphics businesses looking to become part of one of the most successful franchise systems in the business services category.

As a part of the initiative, FASTSIGNS offers the dominant brand name in the quick sign industry, sophisticated e-commerce capabilities and the latest technology, access to endless marketing resources and benefits that come from networking with the more than 530 FASTSIGNS centers nationwide. For a limited time only, FASTSIGNS is also offering reduced franchise fees and other financial incentives to qualified conversion candidates.

"FASTSIGNS is attractive for investors and business enthusiasts because of the proven economic model and stability that the brand retains," Jameson added. "It's imperative that we continue to grow our company with people who are passionate and demonstrate aptitude for the industry – who better than existing sign shop owners?"

Dan and Naomi Stutzman, former independent sign shop owners who converted to a FASTSIGNS in Erie, Pennsylvania, will be discussing how their already successful sign business took off after converting to a FASTSIGNS franchise and will be available for questions following the luncheons.

"As a FASTSIGNS franchisee, I have the benefit of one of the most respected names in the sign business - and in franchising as a whole," said Dan Stutzman. "This is the best business decisions we ever made. The conversion has provided us with a strategic partner that shares our vision for continued success and profitability."

With an overwhelming response, limited seating is available. To make a reservation for the luncheons, please contact Brian Wieters at (800) 827-7446 or brian.wieters@fastsigns.com.

FASTSIGNS will also be hosting a luncheon and exhibiting at the upcoming SGIA Convention in Las Vegas, October 13-15, 2010.
