The SEO platform, built by Delta Media Group, provides market landing pages for each of RE/MAX Alliance's Denver, Boulder and Colorado real estate markets, and drives search engines to index all real estate listings on the website.
"The SEO platform provides a level to RE/MAX Alliance's real estate website that it did not previously have and most real estate websites don't offer," said Mike Minard, president of Delta Media Group. "Now, search engine crawlers can index the market landing pages, market listing results, listing detail pages and more."
Delta Media Group built a beta version of the SEO platform in 2009 to measure search engine indexing and its results. Shortly after, Delta Media Group's SEO department noticed that traffic from search engines doubled, and leads and portfolio accounts created by visitors on the real estate website followed suit.
"The traffic increase was tremendous," Minard said. "We thought, 'Imagine what we can do when we begin to truly apply a dedicated SEO team to this.'"
And that's just what Delta Media Group did. The company positioned professional content writers, programmers, systems administrators and a sales staff in the newly created SEO department, and dedicated packaged allotments to real estate brokerage websites based on their SEO budget.
RE/MAX Alliance was the first, targeting Denver real estate, Boulder real estate, and basically all Colorado areas in between. Now, just months into the project, RE/MAX Alliance's www.HomesinColorado.com saw an increase of daily search engine visitors by more than 350 percent. In fact, RE/MAX Alliance recently saw in one day as many search engine visitors as it averaged in a week prior to SEO work.
Delta Media Group put measurable analytics in place to assure that results were driven due to SEO, rather than a market rebound. And they were. While RE/MAX Alliance's direct traffic over the nine-month period dropped by 10 percent, its search engine visitors nearly quintupled, and percentage of traffic from search engines grew from a meager 28.6 percent to an astounding 55.7 percent.
In a recent month, HomesinColorado.com had 10,000 more visitors from search engines than it had from all sources its first month of SEO work.
