Moe's Franchise Names Six Winners of the I Love Queso Video Contest

One grand prize winner takes home $1,000 and free Queso for a year for submitting the best Queso video

August 17, 2010 // Franchising.com // ATLANTA, Ga. – Moe's Southwest Grill asked guests to enter the I Love Queso Video Contest at www.ilovequeso.com by uploading a one minute video about their love for Moe's Queso. Today Moe's announces the winning video is I Love Dat Queso Divine ft. Chipz. Creator and grand prize winner Christiano Covino from New Canaan, CT will receive $1,000 and free queso for a year. The five runners up are:

Dustin Chan-Pong, Lakeland, FL: The Moe's Queso Rap

David Mitchell, Warrington, PA: Gimmee That Queso

Dan Slemons, Morrow, GA: Dr. Queso

David Gross, Mars, PA: I Love Queso – Welcome to Moe's

Peter Venoit, Virginia Beach, VA – Queso Enthusiast

After over 100 submissions, Moe's panel of judges selected the winning videos based on originality, quality, humor and sincerity.

"We were thrilled by the number of quality submissions to the I Love Queso Video Contest," says Joel Bulger, vice president of marketing for Moe's Southwest Grill. "It wasn't easy picking a top six, but we think these videos really capture people's love for queso in a very fun and unique way."
