Healthy Fast Food Announces U-SWIRL Frozen Yogurt(R) Franchise Approved for SBA Franchise Registry Listing

Approved Listing Will Help to Expedite SBA Loan Process for U-SWIRL Franchisees

HENDERSON, Nev. // PRNewswire-FirstCall // -- Healthy Fast Food, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: HFFI), parent to U-SWIRL International, Inc., the owner and franchisor of U-SWIRL Frozen Yogurt® cafes, today announced that the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) has listed U-SWIRL Frozen Yogurt on its official Franchise Registry. The Franchise Registry is a compilation of franchise systems that have had their franchise agreement reviewed by the SBA, thereby materially expediting the loan process for franchise investors and ensuring a consistent eligibility decision.

Rico Conte, Vice President of Franchise Development at Healthy Fast Food, stated, "Our approval and addition to the SBA's Franchise Registry is yet another important step we've taken to simplify the process of ownership for all current and future U-SWIRL franchisees."

In partnership with FRANdata, the only objective company that researches and reports on franchising, FranchiseRegistry.com is a site that allows franchisees to see which systems are participating in the program, SBA lenders to see details of the SBA approval, and franchisors to submit applications. The Franchise Registry helps the SBA and its participating lenders make consistent eligibility decisions, speed access to SBA financial assistance, streamline processing and recognize industry-specific factors during the loan review process. The Registry enables lenders and SBA local offices to verify a franchise system's lending eligibility through the Internet. This reduces red tape, time and costs for all concerned.

"In the current lending environment, SBA-guaranteed loans are an excellent option for franchisees," said Darrell Johnson, President, FRANdata. "Franchisors understand that if their prospects are taking advantage of the SBA programs, then they need to be on the SBA Franchise Registry."

The original U-SWIRL franchise was opened in April 2008 in Las Vegas. In March 2009, Healthy Fast Food, through its wholly owned subsidiary U-SWIRL International, Inc., premiered its first Company-owned U-SWIRL Frozen Yogurt cafe in Las Vegas. Today, there are now eight U-SWIRL cafes in operation (six Company-owned and two franchise cafes), where customers now flock to choose as many yogurt flavors and toppings as they like, and then pay by the ounce for their unique creations.

Having signed two franchise agreements (Reno, Nevada and Marietta, Georgia) and four area development agreements (Monmouth County, NJ; Phoenix, AZ; Tucson, AZ and Boise, ID) representing 31 new U-SWIRL franchise cafes to be opened over the next three to five years, Healthy Fast Food is making fast progress in executing a series of complementary business strategies designed to rapidly establish the brand as an industry leader in the successful development and operation of frozen yogurt cafes.
