Alamo Drafthouse Cinemas Continues Expansion

November 05, 2010 // Franchising.com // (SAN ANTONIO, Texas)--- Alamo Drafthouse Cinemas will open its newest San Antonio location in the Villages at Stone Oak Shopping Center on November 5, 2010. Alamo Drafthouse Stone Oak is the third location in San Antonio and the tenth location for the Alamo Drafthouse system. The Stone Oak location is owned by franchisee Reel Dinner Partners, LLC. With existing locations at Park North and Westlakes, Reel Dinner Partners, LLC founders, Brandon Arceneaux and Chris Hoegemeyer, are thrilled to bring The Alamo Drafthouse concept to Stone Oak and the surrounding neighborhoods.

The Stone Oak location resides in the heart of this thriving area and is specially designed to fit its upscale personality. Classic movie images combined with modern décor create an atmosphere that is nostalgic and inviting, both inside each theatre and in the expanded lounge area. The theater features state-of-the-art digital projection, 3-D and stadium seating. The 18-and-older policy ensures a mature crowd and helps maintain the theater's chic character. Advance tickets are on sale now for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows opening Friday, November 19.

Alamo Drafthouse offers moviegoers an extensive selection of menu items with dishes made from scratch in a state-of-the-art culinary kitchen. Customers order all food and drinks from servers who quietly attend to them throughout the movie. Handcrafted, specialty beers are available on tap, including The Drafthouse's own signature ale brewed locally in Texas.

"We're excited to offer The Drafthouse experience to people in Stone Oak, Bulverde, and Spring Branch," says Reel Dinner Partners, LLC, Co-founder, Brandon Arceneaux. "We want Alamo Drafthouse Stone Oak to be a comfortable meeting place, favorite spot for dinner, drinks and entertainment, and the state-of-the-art digital theater of choice for this neighborhood."

Arceneaux and Hoegemeyer also plan to open two more Alamo Drafthouse locations in Texas. Additionally, Alamo Drafthouse Cinemas is aiming for further expansion through franchising and company-owned locations.
