McDonald's(R) Invites Customers to Participate in Scavenger Hunt for a Chance to Win a Year's Supply of McCafe(R) Beverages
LOS ANGELES, Nov. 16, 2010 // PRNewswire // -- On Friday, November 19, McDonald's® will hide three giant McCafe® coffee cups in three locations located throughout Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and Ventura counties during its first-ever national McCafe Scavenger Hunt. Beginning at 7:00 a.m. PST, McDonald's will distribute clues on their local Twitter account, @McDonalds_SoCal. The first person who finds one of the three cups placed in different locations throughout the day will receive a year's worth of free McCafe beverages.
McDonald's McCafe Scavenger Hunt coincides with the upcoming launch of the newest addition to the McCafe beverage line – Caramel Mocha – a heart-warming blend of sweet caramel and rich mocha, smooth espresso, whole or non-fat milk, topped with whipped cream and caramel drizzle.
The McDonald's McCafe Scavenger Hunt will take place in eight other cities in the U.S. There will be a total of three grand prize winners in each market. Consumers who visit the cup after it has first been found can also receive a coupon for one free small-sized McCafe beverage, while supplies last.
