BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--MaidPro announced today that it has been ranked in Entrepreneur's Top 100 Low Cost Franchises for 2011. Among cleaning companies with similar maid-service offerings, MaidPro is the only one to appear in Entrepreneur's Top 100 Low Cost Franchises for 2011.
Companies appearing in Entrepreneurs' Top 100 Low Cost Franchises for 2011 are ranked according to objective, quantifiable and verifiable criteria, the most important being, "financial strength and stability, growth rate and size of the system," according to Entrepreneur. "We also consider the number of years a company has been in business and the length of time it has been franchising, startup costs, litigation, percentage of terminations, and whether the company provides financing."
Entrepreneur uses an exclusive formula to score and rank franchise companies. To qualify for the Top 100 Low Cost Franchises, the minimum investment to get started in business must also be less than $50,000. "Franchises that only offer conversion options (i.e., you must already own a business that you want to convert to a franchise) are not considered for this ranking," Entrepreneur notes.
"We consider it a badge of honor to be ranked for a fifth consecutive year by Entrepreneur," says MaidPro CEO Mark Kushinsky. "We work hard to ensure our financials are sound and that our system is geared to grow and deliver financial success to our operators. MaidPro's appearance in Entrepreneur's Top 100 Low Cost Franchises for 2011 reflects our dedication to providing opportunities for new entrepreneurs to partner with a fast-growing global company, in an industry with high long-term growth potential, at the most accessible up-front cost in the business," Kushinksy adds. "We like to think we will be doing our part to put more U.S. and Canadian citizens to work this year in their own businesses and guiding them along a clear and proven pathway to financial success and independence."
