March 07, 2011 // Franchising.com // Oklahoma City, OK — Gatti's Pizza returns to Oklahoma City after thirty-two years when Foodservice Management Systems (FMS) opens a new GattiTown family entertainment center on March 7, 2011. The 60,000 sq. ft. Oklahoma City GattiTown includes an All You Care-to-Eat buffet, an expansive Midway arcade, VIP/birthday rooms, attractions like bumper cars and Go Karts, and more.
The All You Care-to-Eat buffet includes Gatti's signature pizzas, Spa-Gatti pastas, a salad bar, baked potato bar, and desserts. Diners can choose from three themed dining rooms: the Courtyard Café for relaxed, quiet dining; the Plaza Theatre, which shows movies and cartoons; and Gatti's Park, featuring sports on the big screen.
The 25,000 sq. ft. Midway arcade and attractions section includes state-of-the-art video and redemption games of skill, bumper cars, mini bowling, Go Karts, mini-Golf and more. Tickets won in these games can be redeemed at the Gatti's Goods counter for games and toys.
The new GattiTown is located at 5833 NW Expressway in Oklahoma City (Warr Acres) and will employ 120 people from the community.
Foodservice Management Systems, LLC, is a franchisee of the Mr. Gatti's, LP company and opening the new GattiTown in Oklahoma City. FMS is expanding from fourteen family entertainment centers in three states to eighteen in five states. FMS currently operates 16 Gatti's Pizza and GattiTown stores in Texas, Mississippi, Kentucky and now Oklahoma. Besides the Oklahoma City store and the El Paso, TX store that opened in February, FMS will open 2 more new GattiTown family entertainment centers in Lafayette, LA and Sugarland, TX. All are larger than the current GattiTown footprint, ranging from 45,000 - 60,000 sq. ft. each.
